Culture Summerside has compiled educational resources for the use of teachers, students, community groups and organizations, and the general public in their study and discovery of Island history and culture.

The Open Suitcase Series was developed around subject matter in the Island school curriculum and requests from teachers for classroom speakers. The different programs can be used in two ways: viewing the written material online, and by borrowing one of the program suitcases which contain not only the written material but a number of hands on resources. The suitcases can be borrowed free of charge for several weeks by calling the programming office at 432-1298.
